Short barrels for mossberg 500/590

I'm sure someone has already asked this question, but is there a reason why no one in Canada has produced/marketed a 14" barrel for Mossbergs?
Something to do with magtube?
Just curious. And MERRY CHRISTMAS everybody!

Or better yet ,what about a 15" barrel that we can use with current 18.5" barreled Mossberg 590 magazine tubes that we have?
