Hi all, I have an AR I put together, and during the build I sold the A2 stock the lower came with and installed a 6 position collapsible. The 6 pos did not come with a buffer/spring, so I used the one from the A2. Everything went good until I put my upper on today and tried to #### it.......and the carrier/buffer move 1 inch and hit the back of the tube! In hind sight the tube on the A2 was longer and alowed everything to travel into it, but you know what they say about hind sight! My question being do they make shorter buffers that are still the proper weight, or was this stock designed for an AR that is chambered in a pistol cartrige (9mm, 40 cal).
