Here's the deal.... @20 yards, 10 shots standing, 10 kneeling and 10 resting only elbows on a bench. Its more for bragging rights than money. I currently shoot a CZ 452 LUX LH in .22lr. My issue is finding a cheaper scope I can have at 6-10 power, that I can still focus the reticle on @20 yards. Any suggestion?

I would look at Bushnell Rimfire, focus to 10Yd. I must say that I have not tried these myself but I do own 5 Trophy Extremes and 5 Ar scopes and for the money I am certainly happy.

Many general purpose hunting scopes have their parallax set at 100 yards. What you need is a scope with an adjustable objective (AO) or side focus. This will allow you to focus at closer ranges. Some scopes with AO will only focus to a minimum of 50 yards. Look for something that will focus to 10 or 15 yards to infinity.

I put a Bushnell AR optics 2-7x on my 10/22, and have no complaints. The zoom and parallax knobs are quite stiff, but it holds zero just fine and the glass is acceptable for an inexpensive scope. Side parallax adjusts down to 10 yards, and it's around $150 on sale.

Vortex Diamondback 2-7 x 35 Rimfire. Has the 50 yard parallax and focuses well up to around 15 yards and out to infinity. Despite being a rimfire scope it is the same scope as the full bore vortex 2-7x35 rifle scope other than the parallax setting (100 yards on the fullbore version) So you can use the rimfire version on a full bore rifle or shotgun and it will still handle the pounding (Most deer are shot within 50 yards in Canada).....Lifetime unconditional warranty.....

if you want something inexpensive Simmons has a 3-9x32 with adjustable objective so it would focus at short distance. cabelas has them for $100 don't know how good they are but seems to fit what you are looking for

At 20yrds a fixed power scope would do. No messing around with adjusments.
You want cheap?.....Simmons 22mag 4x fixed power. Light and sized right for a rimfire.

The Simmons would be the cheapest option. The Nikon Target EFR would get my vote for something that can focus nice and close and it is priced reasonably.

I have a Leupold VX-Freedom rimfire 2-7x on my close work 22lr. No adjustable objective, but a great scope nonetheless.

I have a crystal clear old Japanese Tasco 1.75-5 X 20 just like this one; it is on my AR15 and I shoot sub MOA at 100 yards with it. I would love to find another one for my .22 rifle. This is more than you need for 20 yards; a 5 or 6 - 9 variable is too much power.

Have you considered a red dot? I shot a red dot in the "scope" class for our fun shoots, and have won competitions with it... No magnification.

I always liked the bushnell banner 4-12 with a/o i have had mine on air rifles and now on my savage mark11. It will focus at 10 yds and less on 12 power. I find it the best for the buck. I have heard the current production ones are not as bright as the older ones but its a scope to add to the list. I also have a simmons 3-9 22mag and can say it will not focus on 9x at 20 yrds

Get a Leaper's Bug Buster, they come in 4X, 6X and 3-9X32 and focus down to 3 meters... good scope for the money.

I would not recommend this scope! I had problems right out of the box with mine and all i got from vortex was a song and dance. Honestly poor customer service. Will never buy anything from them again. I went to a leupold 2×7 and it worked as expected. I should have known better
