Hi, does anyone know a gunsmith who can shorten a 6" barrel for a .22LR Beretta 71 to 4.2 inches? The front sight appears to be pressed in a longitudinal groove cut into top of barrel.
I've seen some Beretta 71's with the skinny barrel liner making it restricted but I think cutting down a 6" barrel is better aesthetically as well as likely functioning better too.
