Shorter barrel

DLASK is the only store I'm aware that makes canada legal 870 barrels in the short size for you to replace, they come stamped "DLASK ARMS" on the side with the length, chambering and other details. That makes it pretty easy to prove the barrel is legal and swapped, not chopped down. Lot of other barrels I've seen only state the caliber on them which leaves up the interpretation that the barrel was cut illegally and barrel marking lost in the process.

I had purchased a Churchill 12" temporarily while I was waiting for DLASK to restock. Sold it when i got the shorter barrel, they cost the same.

Apply for EE access, I see 14” & 18” 870 barrels for sale regularly, the odd 12.5” Grizzly barrel as well. 14” to 20” is really an ideal length for getting in and out of a vehicle to shoot grouse on the road.

The OP is asking about a 3.5" chambered barrel.

FWIW, looking quickly, the shortest barrel I saw available was 26" (no doubt much longer than what you might hope to find).

Define short. I assume you mean longer than 18”. You could always have it cut and threaded for chokes to a length of your choosing (470mm +).

Shotgun has 30 inch barrel chambered for 3.5" shells. Looking for 22 or 24" barrel.

You’ll want to look for an 870 Turkey barrel, smooth bore with rifle sights that’s threaded for chokes. Or an 18”-20” cyl bore you can get threaded for chokes. The later will likely be easier to find, the other option is cutting a 28” vent rib barrel down and having it threaded and a new bead put on it.
