With the already extended length of the NR 858 barrel, what is the shortest OAL for a muzzle brake, flash hider, or compensator available on the market.
Most seem to run about 2", which really adds a lot of length to an already long barrel. I've used NEA's Crusader Brake in the past and though it is a very functional piece, it is big and heavy.
So what's the shortest and/or lightest?
Note that the AK style brake isn't really functional on an extended barrel.
