I took to 10.25" shorty AR out yesterday (car gas tube, full carrier) I was getting two round stoppages - looked like the spent casing would not fully eject and then the bolt would pickup a new round jamming both in the process. I'm thinking that this is an extraction problem. The extractor looked ok, but....
Another kind person lent me his AR15 carrier w/bolt and I preceded to rapid fire three mags without any problems using the same ammo/mags as before.
So, maybe just a new extractor and spring? Anyone have thoughts on the D-fender set up (availability in Canada) Thoughts?
One other strange problem: Occasionally using the original set up, the bolt would hold/open on the second last round?
