Took a little trip up to Club de Tier in Montreal on Tuesday past. Terry and Frank are good guys. Got a chance to hold a new CZ SP-01 and can confirm the comments here on how well it fits to hand. I didn't get a chance to shoot it, but it was the most comfortable to hold of 8 or 10 that I tried on for size (heaviest too).
I did get to shoot 50 rounds through each of a Glock 17 (9mm), H&K USP in .40, and a Norinco 1911 in .45 (in that order) at their indoor range. The H&K was sweet.
It was my wife's firt time shooting a pistol, and she shot a half dozen rounds out of each. Her first shot with the H&K was dead on the X (25 ft). I never got an X all day.
She held my new Beretta ES100 Pintail shotgun last night and all she said was 'it's light'. I think I am creating a 5'4", 130 lb. monster.
I am about to buy a CZ SP-01.
Thanks for all of the good advice and info on this site.
