Hi All,

I had a great experience at Camp Debert this weekend shooting with the Nova Scotia Highlanders Military Rifle Association. We are a very small club that shoot every Saturday morning from June to September at the DND range in Debert, NS.

I've been shooting mostly T/R for four years, but a couple times a year I shoot with my budget F class rifle. This weekend was my first time out with the F gun this year and I shot a 150-22V! (or 172 converted score, and we still use DCRA targets with the moa v-bull)

What made me even more pleased is that on the 600 yard relay I shot a 50-9V. So for 9 out of 10 shots I kept it within 1 moa at 600 yards! Very pleased with that result.

I shoot a Browning A-bolt target off a Remple skipod. Scope is a Sightron SII 6.5X20X50. Shooting 155 gr. SMK. Another member had his Chrono with him and I shot over it for a relay and found my ammo to be quite consistent around 2930 fps. I didn't write down each velocity but it didn't seem to change by more than 15-20 fps. First time chrono'ing my ammo.

Good job,

Maybe you guys should start using the 1/2moa V like we did if you got enough F-class shooters, its just a smaller center we get printed and glue on top of the DCRA centers. Fun either way though.

Any plan to come shoot TR with us at Bullmeadow again sometime? I've finally switched over to TR myself.

Nice shooting, a 50 with any V count always puts a smile on my face. In fact I shot a 50.0V one time that made me smile, beat all the 49.9V on the range that day.

Now to all you TR shooters out there...
I am taking a TR Team to Guyana in Oct of this year. We are still looking for more shooters that are interested in going. You don't have to be a master class shooter, Queen's prize winner or world champion, newer TR shooters are more than welcome to join the team. Contact me by PM if you are interested.

Thanks all!

SND,
I have a hard time getting down to Bull Meadow. Its a three hour drive and I like Debert a lot and it's only 30 mins from my place. I'll work on my T/R game and try to get down for the Elliott Campbell next spring : )

Very well done! I don't compete but shot my personal best (distance) this past week at 972m on a 20" full torso steel gong. Was hoping to break 1000m but weather did not co-operate at all.

Nice Job Boomer, that's long!

That's another reason I want to get back Bull Meadow. I went once and it fogged in and we never shot the 800m relay.
