We aren’t missing out on much. I like my ACR way better. The only reason we want it is because we can’t have it.

I didn’t have time to really play with it too much, just put 3 mags through it.

I seriously shot better groupings with a Glock 26 at the same distance. The full auto muzzle rise felt like a Thompson...

Likely the reason nobody but grin seekers and machine gunners actually shoot full auto. I'd take a scar 17 with an NR barrel any day of the week.

I have. I found the XCR-M is better balanced, the SCAR is a little bulkier and I found unweildy. I was really disappointed as I am a huge fan of the FN-FAL and had always been told the SCAR was an evolution.

Interesting. Thanks. I've been waiting for IRG SCAR 17 to be approved by the RCMP but am now leaning more towards getting an XCR-M. Especially since they're now coming with M-Lok handguards.

I own a XCR-M with the quad rail. Heavy beast but reliable as a bench shooter and very minimal recoil. The M-Lok or Keymod version is way lighter for sure.
The SCAR isn’t as heavy but feels like a plastic toy. The controls are small. The gun does not feel expensive, more like Airsoft.
I was with PE when he shot the suppressed SCAR and I agree with his assessment.

I’ve played with DILLI’s ACR. It’s a beaut! Wish he cleaned it more often!

I’m in for a Range day. Just got to scare up some ammo. I’m really low on .308.

I had an XCR-M with railed handguards. Fussy with different types of ammo, but was a very soft shooter. My wife loved to shoot it as it didn't recoil nearly as much as a person would think a .308 should. If Robinson could get a few more things worked out with that XCR, then I think they would have a real winner. As they stand, much too much moola for what you get.

SCAR has pretty tall bore to rail height, and tall BGC with off bore axis mass. That kind of gun in general don't shoot as fast as low bore axis guns like AR15. I found it you need to square the body more to shoot guns like this, like the Radom Beryl with optic attached on rail and X95.
