Anyone know where do get the chart online , for rilfres that show shot corrections? Similar to the one that the pistol shooters use , but specificaly for long range rifle?

Not sure what you're talking about... Are you asking about ballistic charts?
The best thing to do is to go out there and shoot, and keep your results in a logbook along with weather, wind, altitude, humidity, etc.

To give you a clue about what setting you should start off, you can use JBM Samll Arms Ballistics to calculate a ballistic table: http://www.eskimo.com/~jbm/calculations/traj/traj.html

I know what he is talking about. It's a target that is broken up like a pie chart showing what the shooter did wrong in order to correct it.

I can't see there being one for long range rifles though. If you are shooting on a calm day and you know your load shoots you should be able to tell what you did wrong by where the bullet impacts.

ie. Low Shot = too much shoulder, High Shot = too much free recoil, Shot Left = Either pulled, pushed or shouldered differently (depending on right or left handed), Shot Right = Same as Shot Left. Sometimes there is just the unexplained shot that goes anywhere but where you wanted it means you either did something wrong/different, a condition came up that you didn't see or you got a bullet that was not the same as the others.

These would be in comparison to other shots that landed where they were supposed to.

There is on on snipersworld.com - look under downloads. If you can't find it, pm me.

Fusilier had a typo ... should be sniperworld.com ... easy enuf to find in the downloads.

The target does show what conditions (or lack of reading them correctly) can do. But unlike the handgun target it does not show what the shooter did wrong if (on a perfect day) all conditions are calm besides maybe the effect of cant.

The chart I'm looking for ( and i saw it somewhere, just can't remember where ) was a target and had stuff like a group of holes in a vert line just above the center means the barrel in heating up, ect. Anyone know what I'm talking about ?

Group diagnosis? I have this: http://www.rifleman.org.uk/Fuller_group_diagnosis.htm

It was made for small bore rifles, but I guess it's pretty much the same for larger calibers.

There is a book set available in paper or CD from Jim Owens (jarheadtop.com or 334-347-0020) that includes a group analysis chapter. There are pictures of a group on target, a description of where the group hit, the mistakes made by the shooter, and the corrections needed.

As an example one group is identified as 11:00 to center. The pic shows the group extending from the 10 ring out and up to the 6 ring at 11:00. He identifies 3 problems: A) Lack of follow through, B) Anticipating recoil, C) Pulls rifle to rear, lowers shoulder to right & raises muzzle to left.

The corrections are: A) Good stock weld, B) Let head ride with recoil, C) Wait for rifle to push shoulder & move with it, D) Concentration; should be centered on sight alignment & trigger control! E) Ignore recoil.
