Shot Gun Sights

I have a Double 12G Boito shotgun with 20" barrels. It has a solid rib down the center. I was wondering if a blade front sight and a rear peep sight could be installed ??? Any Thoughts ??? Jack

On a double barrel?

You do realize the barrels don't have the same exact point of impact.

I would just leave the bead alone, unless you had a rifled single barrel and planned on shooting slugs.

I was planning to shoot slugs. I thought maybe sights would be better than a bead at 25 yards

I had one similar to that a few years back (a Baikal SxS hammer gun with 20" barrels) with Remington Rifle Sights installed on the rib. It printed slugs side by side at 50M only 2" apart. I say go for it. You can always zero one barrel and use Kentucky windage for the other if it is way out of whack. Makes for a neat slug gun.

That sounds like what I am after. I have been away from the gun scene for awhile so I don't know whats available. I do like peep sight though.
