Fellas I hear the ammo for this gun is very corrosive, does that mean I need to clean it after each time I shoot it? went through about 80 rounds today, it sure is fun to shoot, thanks FS

Yes. You need to clean it after each session shooting corrosive ammo.

Not all 7.62x39 ammo is corrosive. However, the majority of the stuff we have available here in Canada is. Always ask, and when in doubt it doesn't hurt to play it safe and assume corrosive.

As SlickNick mentioned, give the barrel and gas piston a spray with some windex (the kind with ammonia in it) after shooting, then go home and clean the gun properly.
