Shot my HW 97

Well I have had this blue laminate beauty since early Sept. but have been unable to get in front of a target till yesterday. Mine came with a 3-9 x 33 Leupold on Top.
Was only shooting at 25 yards with match pellets. Wow is all I can say, is this rifle ever accurate, I'm taking it to the range every time I go. FS

I have a HW 97k, was picking off squirrels with yesterday, you made a good choice, I have a hard time choosing between that and the TX200. excellent rifle, I think that the barrel inside the shroud is only 11.5 " long, with such a short lock time the pellet is long gone before the recoil can affect it, awesome trigger, beautiful stock, easier loading port than the TX, smooth cocking action, its a rifle that won't get traded off.

No kidding, I love mine in 22 cal, it shoots JSB DIABOLO JUMBO MATCH (JSB546250-500), and JSB DIABOLO EXACT JUMBO (JSB546247-250)
I use the wads to 30 meters, and the field rn from that on out.

don't know, but they hit hard enough to kill small game easy. And accuracy is tops... Head shots on grouse to 30 meters & maybe even to 50 if you got a good scope,( I like a light scope, not a heavy leapers, this gun is heavy enough), easy off hand.

Where to buy one? D&L or Specialty Sports, both on line, both excellent in service. Whats the Velocity of the .22? 750 fps. In .177 its in the 950 fps range depending on ammo weight.
