Shot Shell Size For Geese??

I don't have a favorite steel load, they all suck.

Wow, there seems to be quite a range out there for preference. I think I will have to pick up some BB's that I used to use, and then try a box of several others and see what works best for. I really appreciate all the input.

3 inch Kent Fasteel Ounce and a Quarter of 1's the goose load by which all others are judged.

What brand? That was my favorite load with the remmy nitro, but they stopped making them in favor of the hypers.

I too shoot Kent Fasteel but if I'm not mistaken a number of other manufacturers also make this load, I just prefer Kent.

3 inch #4 steel for everything.

BBs for geese and #2s for duck. And steel sucks.

I have shot steel B's handloads out of my 20 gauge, in my opinion they are the best shotsize for geese. Hevi-shot B's might be over kill I used to use 4's when I could afford it, another excellent goose load try it if you can.

I use Kent Fasteel 3.5" - 1 3/8 Oz - #1's - 1550 FPS for everything. All types of ducks and Canada Geese.
