This is what we know about the RGP upper so far,

- 1-piece monolithic upper, handguard has multiple QD sling points and the rails are modular,
- Push-pin release, self-adjust gas piston system,
- AAC black out flash suppressor for mounting sound supressor
- barrel: hammer-forged, 1:7 twist, 6 groves and free-floated; barrel can be changed out with an allen-key. Currently available for LE in 10.5 and 14.5 configurations,
- 5.56 for now, maybe 6.8 down the road,
- works with any standard AR lower
- full rifle: 10.5 is 6.56 lbs, 14.5 is 6.95 lbs

The good news, the upper will be available for civilian sale (finger-crossed, by the end of the year according to Remington reps). Maybe a non sound-suppressor ready AAC black-out flash suppressor and 16 inch barrel for the Canadian market?

That's a nice rifle, would love to see a civilian model available.

Bump on the carrier tilt question asked earlier. Would love to hear how they get around that.

What is the GPR you speak of?

Hopefully this comes to Canada someday. I mean Remington's varmit rifles are here after all. Wishful thinking will have to tide me over for now.

Not even a civie model yet.
