Remington has some pretty affordable 1911 models. New for 2013 is the RI carry. The slide and receiver are honed to remove sharp lines and edges. The finish is very nice to the hand.

You can see the bushing on the commander , not really thrilled with the fitment of the grip safety though

WOW perfect gun...until i saw the MSRP...Do you know how much more it`s going to cost in Canada

$ 1300 for Remington, maybe $ 499 is the most i will pay, quality is not there

Nice. Forged steel frame now, hey? I am almost positive the originals were cast. Any word if this is a S80 or S70 series gun?
