Shot show 2018: Heckler and Koch New and Old

HK , the best gun #### there is. Thanks for the pics. The one thing I’m confused about is , why so many different rail types. I see MLOK on the M110A1, keymod on the 433 and a bunch of quad rail on the others. Can’t HK make up their mind.

It's not so much HK that can't make up their mind. More has to do with the different contracts they get and the preference of the purchaser.

Iirc this is eventually supposed to replace both no? The way it was described, this is basically the xm8 with details ironed and put in a very massada-esque body. And the xm8 in the few tests it was put in was pretty damn amazing.

They will equip it with whatever their customers want. The germans are stubbornly sticking to their propietary keymod design. The yanks want mlok. So do we for that matter. Some other customers will stick to pic/stanag rail.
 
Thanks everyone..and to think I wasn't gonna post these pics because I wasn't entirely happy with the lighting...good thing I did I guess lol

I handled the 433 and like greentips prefer the 416 but in fairness I never shot the 433

The bungee cord is very cool...rather than pull the gun toward you as with a conventional stock here you push it away from your body and the tension on the bungee cord stabilizes it...a very cool sensation

Unfortunately true. Welcome to the lowest bid mentality. In 37 years associated with procurment and purchasing it still reigns supreme. When will we ever learn????

oh i know why...i havent stopped looking at all my pics since i got home...saw soooooo many things that i want, sigh..this trip is going to end up costing me a pile of money in the long run
