When I tried to import one, it was for a friends daughter; a little girl who isn't so little anymore. You may be right for you, and most rowdy bar fighting men, but there's a market for and a need for these. Most girls won't carry a knife, but wouldn't object to a pink kitty keychain.

TSA has confiscated a lot of those. Not allowed to fly with them. The TSA Instagram page that shows off stuff they confiscate is littered with those.

You may get through, you may not. Probably not a problem if you check it though, but it would an easy thing to forget on your keychain and get confiscated.

If you're stupid and put them in the tray, sure you'll lose them.

Unless you're x-rayed or frisked, you can carry anything not metal without anyone knowing.
