Heard about this new chassis from a buddy of mine, so i went to look for it. I tried the bolt action, with plain jane, regular 22lr ammo. The scope was a rather high-end (for me) object though (the super tactical complicated mrad reticle sure helped). Busted a few clays at 100 yards, way too easy. Another berm ar 210 yards offered a few types of gongs. Once i figured the hold over, i was hitting a small gong repeatedly. The few shots i missed were entirely my fault.

Great gun...

Will try to get more info and pics at the Savage booth at the show.

Custom 1 Piece MDT Chassis machined from billet aluminum

Adjustable Comb height
10 rotary mag (Flush fitting)
Accu trigger you know and trust
18in heavy bbl Threaded (Induces thread protector)

I would say this is Savages response the the Ruger Precision Rimfire.

Everything about this was was nice. I very much like the solid aluminum one piece stock.
Includes little things like a sling swivel.
Have not confirmed but would appear to accept the Magpul® M-LOK® Slots

Over all this rifle was impressive. Reached out and was able to hit the steel to a bit past 300.
You have to try the long shots.

Can't wait for the comparisons between this and the Ruger Precision Rimfire...One shall get my money this year!

The Savage MKii FV in the cheap plastic stock shoots better than the RP. Add the MDT chassis too it and it’ll outshoot almost anything for the price.

Did you get to shoot the A22 or see anyone shooting it? Might have to pick it up if I can find a good reason that my wife will buy.

Sorry NucHunter. Unfortunately we only managed to try the bolt. Handled the semi at the Savage booth today, but dry firing can only tell us so much...

Any idea what this will MSRP? I've got a synthetic stock, savage .22 mk11. She's a shooter but she been begging me for a new dress.

Mdt makes a lss chassisfor the savage mark11. Its worth the expense. Be warned once you get one they seem to multiply. I own 3 and will add another once my current projects are finished
Next time im in london im going to check these new ones out. Bullseye has some

Pulled the trigger on the A22, will try to post an update when I get the rifle and I can get out shooting it. Currently waist deep snow in areas so may be a while.
