Shot Timer for .22's

^^^^
+1 on the CED 7000 on a .22 pistol. Not sure about a rifle thou.

How about one of those iPhone shot timer apps?

Was going to download them but got my hands on a CED 7000 instead.

Too bad... Cause my 32GB iP4 battery does quite well for me. 100% @ 4am down to about 50% by 8pm. Use everything from HeyTell constantly, push emial and other social apps to iBook to net surfing and watching Dexter and True Blood.

Well damn that means i can't sell you a new one with the adjusting screw exposed! for those of you with the older timer, i am told (so note i have not tried this myself, yet) that you can drill a hole above the adjusting screw location and voilà, there is is and you can now adjust the sensitivity of the timer.

All depends on what you are using it for. as a match timer i like RUReady better then the CED 7000. i find the 7000 too hard to read with polarized lenses. However i do prefer my 8000 over the RUReady because the numbers are nice and BIG however it makes a poor match timer because the hinge on it breaks fairly easy, grumble grumble grumble. Of course then there is my PACT which is this side of indestructible and when something goes wrong with it a quick call to PACT usually tells me how to fix it (knock on wood.)

As you can guess from the above i use different timers for different things.

x2 on that.

I do like the size and I can slip it into one of my old cell phone cases and clip it to my belt.

I like the spy mode feature but haven't used it yet but may try it sometime at a upcoming match. This is so I can see their times right there and then and not have to ask. Gives me an idea what other competitors are running at.

I'm guessing it depend on the polarized lenses....with my Oakley I have no problem reading the 7000...I did own a couple Yellow box before...I didn't mind it either, for big match I used what ever they provide me :)

Getting back to the Iphone Aps... I just picked up an Ipod Touch 4 (Same thing as Iphone but without that annoying cell phone thingy) Has anyone found and tried an App that is useful for IPSC??

Its not the same thing because you need to plug in your headphones to use a microphone for the shot timers, vs my iPhone which doesn't.
