You can argue with the CFO all you like about ballistics but it's a waste of time when the NSSA/NSCA range guidelines specify a 300 yard shot fall zone. As well, while clay ranges limit shot size to #7.5 it's not all that unusual for some lunkhead to come out to the club just before duck season with a box of 3 inch #2 and bang off a few until someone (hopefully) reminds him of the rules.

While I have nothing to actually contribute to agrue in favor of the gun club... Will point this out... In Kamoops, the trap club is shooting in the general direction of the Coquihalla Highway.. as far as I know, there have never been any issues up there where the shot lands
300 meters is what they've been forcing on us for the last 5 or so years
