I have been toying with the idea of ordering a couple to try out. Can anyone here tell me what to expect for accuracy versus adapter length. Is 3 inch to short? Also rifled versus non rifled. Im thinking of a couple of 9mm adapters for my DA Outlaw. I dont expect tack drivers. I just want to know if these things can generally hit what they are aimed at.

Are these things usefull or just a gimmick?

I have a 12-.22 adapter, accuracy is decent up to 25meters (2-3" group) after that the accuracy drops off. I use it in my 870 18.5", maybe a longer barrel might help. It is kinda fun though, pocket full of .22 and a box of shells can make for a good time in the bush.

I just got a 9mm rifled 3inch adapter froma guy on here named shotgun bob. He may have a couple left if you message him. I havt shot it yet but it cycles in my 500 and fits nice in my cooey. Havt shot it yet.

Just wondering how a longer bbl may affect accuracy....
I'm curious about these adapters too. Not expecting outstanding accuracy but just he option to plink 22lr out of my DA Backpacker.
Saw some for sale on the internet. I would guess the threaded adapters would be the way to go.

There are aluminum adapters out there, there are also steel ones. Personally I'd prefer steel, not sure how long aluminum rifling and the rim etc would hold up.

the adapters tend to be non rifled so when the bullet leaves the adapter they tumble. You have very low velocity unless you get a long one that is rifled then it's useable.
