Shotgun fanny packs

For those of you tactically inclined and fashion-ally r-tarded, I have a question.

James Reeves from TFBTV has made quite a few comments about the tactical fanny pack and his personal +1 to the idea, especially as it pertains to high volume shooting

I love this idea, as a voluntary cringer, but primarily an autist (legally) for more than just efficiency, a fanny pack sounds like an absolutely wonderful solution, and much less money than a bunch of Esstac sleeves with chyna brand ones for practice.

Would love to hear people's thoughts

When yall get your legally obtained property back, I would like to also get into similar interests, and maybe start practicing some 3gun stuff as from the early days of Keanu's YT videos, it has been growing on me, and in light of current political climates, I feel confident in a return to normalcy being around the corner, and with that hopefully an extra few bucks in the pocket which may be used to expand my collection from exclusively being manual action arms (lever and bolt is always going to be my favourite, though)

Anyways. Thoughts? Opinions? Contradictions?

Sell me on it.

Seems to make sense to me, bit of a best of both worlds, immediate and ordered selection (and the ability to mix & match, if needed) on the person and within easy reach, but not limited to the 5-7 you frequently have on you.

Makes sense to me, very 80s action hero, which I don't hate, but I would love to hear your elaboration

I have some beretta wild game belts that hold 24 to 28 shells depending on the gauge. They're padded so they're comfortable to wear for long periods. They work well and have closed bottoms and they're not elastic so they hold shells tight and they don't work thru and fall out.
However for high volume crow shooting I wear a shooting jacket with large front pockets. It's about the fastest thing going unless you use shell caddys but I don't quad load when hunting due to mag limits
It's fast easy and instinctively coherent to grab a shell from a coat pocket and load while looking upward or across the horizion

That's very interesting! I feel like a jacket with very large front pockets is basically the argument James Reeves makes for the fanny pack, it's just there, it's secure, and it's easily accessible right where you want them to be

For me and for the range it is a fanny pack or a smaller size Maxpedition Rollypoly dump pouch with a belt ....

For hunting ... I normally have a muff around my waist and that has loops to hold around 10 - 15 shells .... and that has pockets for more shells ....

And for the zombie apocalypse I have a ground drone/robot programmed to stay bedside my side at all times. It carries 5000 12ga rounds .... ready at all times .... 😂

What’s your primary use/application? I have a thing for S&J DSC pouches, comes with 6rd shell cards that are good quality. Made myself a belt mounted piece the cards attach to.

Have a tactical tailor shell holder belt like the one above as well but 99% of the time I use the DSC and my diy belt holder.

Your signature got me good! This is pretty well exactly what I had in mind, something cheap but decent

Don't really have one atm, but I would like a 1301 to be in my future, and maybe 3gun to be in all of our futures

My solution for the range. >$20 online.
Holds 24, so not too heavy. Works OK. Shells stay secure. I might upgrade later.
I use it like a belt with the buckle to the back.

This is what I envisioned when the guy said 3 battle belts, absolute peak
You absolutely could pull it off with anything! The bando with 45-70 holds a ton of different calibers, the loops are just stretchy enough for 45-70. The other two are pretty well only good for 12 or 10 gauge though. All 3 were just purchased off Amazon, you know what to do!
