Hi Guys
I'm well on the way to replacing the pump handgaurd on my mossberg 590SP with a FAB Defence railed forend that displays three picatinny rails. The purpose is to mount a light so that when I'm on night watch with the Canadian Rangers I can actually see the grizzly when it walks into camp.

More times than not the weather is inclement, wet and cold. So the system has to be weather proof. Additionally the recoil of 2 3/4" (perhaps even 3" Mag) rifled slugs calls for a system that is tough and durable.

What illumination system to do I need?
I Need some advise on the products out there.

Laser Devices

I personally like the Laser Devices flashlights. Get one with the LED lamp for recoil resistance. A very rugged and simple flashlight. A simple 1" picatinny mount ring will attach it to your forend. Easy to remove during the day, quick to attach for low light.
