I have a Bakel (Russian, not sure on the spelling), side-by-side, 14in barrel's exposed hammers, almost new, i put about 50 rounds through it, and no marks on the blueing or wood. I am thinking of selling it and don't know what i can get for it. if any one can help let me know.

cheers

Look at similar guns in the EE. Look at the cost of a new one, and guess what someone would think is a reasonable price for yours. Once you set a price, if you don't want offers, list the price as "firm". If you do want offers, list as "obo". This may sound silly, but you'd be surprised how many people just put a price, and get pissy at offers. On the other hand, the majority of sellers are very reasonable to deal with.

Putting aside the cut down barrels (Legal?), the standard 20" barrel Baikal runs about $500-550.....

if the barrels are cut to 14 inches and are not factory made at that length you have a prohibited gun.i would advise you to dispose of the barrels or at the very least take them off the receiver then you could sell the receiver as a receiver only.i would not like to see you get into trouble over a misunderstanding of barrel length law .if i have given bad advice i stand to be corrected .

Is it regestered with 14 " barrels? If so no prob, I think, What mod is it? Does it have a front bead? All important. Hope we can help. If it is a cut down U might make it a doudle rifle & reg. with new longer tubes.
