Shotgun Round cap. 5+1

ok i know that manual operated pump shotguns dont have a round limit correct? now i just got a new

mossberg 12 500 persuader, 5+1

its capped to only allow 2 in the mag. what do i do to allow for the full 5 in the mag capacity.

im sorry im completely new to shot guns.

i have searched and searched and searched but have found nothing before i posted this.

Remove the wooden plug in the mag tube per the instruction manual. It is only for hunting.

If you unscrew the magazine cap that holds the barrel on, there should be a rod inside the magazine that you can shake out.

The wooden plug is standard on some shotguns. It's meant to be plugged when hunting waterfowl

i dont think tree stumps and action figures or maybe stuffed animals count as waterfowl. so i think im safe
