Shotgun Shell Reloading

Lawry's (Caledonia) and Hummasons (Ancaster) are not in the GTA (both around Hamilton) but are virtually the only places worth it to buy shotgun reloading supplies. With the significant increase in shot prices its almost not worth it to reload unless for competition

those 2 gauges are a good one to reload for when boxes run 10-14/25pcs. Using only 1/2oz of shot in 410 is huge savings, just have to watch out in the loader for shot getting stuck in the drop tube.

I know you mentioned you are doing it for fun, and that is just as good a reason as any to reload. You can buy flats of Federal and Remington target load in 12 and 20 gauge for much less then you can reload those gauges at retail prices. If you aren't buying supplies from Hummasons or Lawry's you will be paying retail prices which can be as much as 50-70% more. If you are serious about saving money in your sub-gauge guns then it's worth the drive to Hamilton to stock up.
