Shotgun shot sizing - how to do??

Exactly what you need but not the cost. I used the brass ones at INCO in the last century and I bet they were expensive but lasted forever. Get a couple of used strainers from a second hand store and a couple of different drill bits and spend a bit of time drilling out some holes. You may have to go to numbered drill bits if you want to get real fussy. They may cost you a nickel but they can always be used for wood screw pilots. You may have to chamfer the holes if they are rough. Try running the bit in reverse so as not to drill through.

Ha! No doubt I will try that! I did spend most of my "allowance" and got two 12" x 12" screens - one should reject anything larger than .105" and the other should allow smaller than .094" to fall through - so in between is what i was hoping for (reject from smaller screen, after passing through larger screen) - very much a "puttering" kind of project now!!!

When I was making lead shot, I got perforated metal screen in Winnipeg. Looks like this: https://www.accuratescreen.ca/products/perforated-metal/

Came in sizes of half of 1/64". It was cheap. I had different sizes that sieved out the nuggets that went for remelt and I could sieve the shot into individual sizes. 7 1/2, 8, 8 1/8 and 9.

I nailed it under a 2X4 frame and shook it over a box. Shot would plug the holes so turn it upside down and push the shot out with plastic mallet.
