Hi guys,I have an old Lakefield pump shotgun that I shortened for use as a back-up during archery season. The front bead was replaced, but the gun shoots off to one side. I would like to install adjustable sights(rifle type , called express sights I think). Can anyone suggest a sight combo that would work? Mostly just slugs used in it now. Thanks, Dave

William's Gunsights makes all kinds of 'em.
"...the gun shoots off to one side..." With slugs or everything? It's possible that whatever sight is on it now was installed off centre, but have that looked at first.
You should check the legality of having a firearm with you during bow season too.

I should try shooting some else gun first to make sure your not flinching when you pull the trigger, this often show up with slug as it is not so noticed with birdshot. I would say that 90% of the guns I see that shoots to one side, etc is down to the shooter not the gun. This may not be the case for you but rule it out first

Sunray, during spring bear season we can use archery, ML, or rifle.I'm pretty up on our game laws.Been hunting for 45 yrs.
Also, I realize the front sight may be slightly off center, that's partly why I want to change sights. All I've shot out of it is slugs since the bbl. was shortened, I'm not really concerned with shot pattern. Thanks for the recommendations.:)Anyone else have any other ideas? I'm relatively unschooled when it comes tosights on a shotgun.
