What type of open sights are you using on your shotguns for gun games? Are you using the factory sights or did you upgrade them? Discuss.

Optical sights need not apply to this conversation.

I just picked up my Benelli Super Black Eagle 2 and it has a fibre optic front bead, but I'm debating whether I put a set of Tru-glos or similar on it. I will wait to decide until I've tried the thing out first, but I'm curious what others are currently using.

I have Tru-glos on my turkey shotguns but I'm thinking the factory fibre optic bead might be better for speedy acquisition.

Hi-Viz front (green)

Installed a 10/22 flip up sight milled into the rib... To assist with slug shooting.

I know you are using this for 3-gun. The top level 3-gun shooters just use a fiber front. Ghost sights are too slow. The Hiviz Comp sight is very good. It is what comes with the Benelli M2 3-gun shotgun model.

The ONLY thing Ghost-Ring's (on my old m4) helped me with was my slug shots... For everything else those sights were teh suck.
I installed a flip up rifle sight to help when shooting slugs, but when folded down... or hell, even when folded up... In conjunction with my Hi-Vis front... 'works great for clays, plates.. whatever

Stock steel bead, but polished for slightly better acquisition. I like being able to chuck my shotgun in a dump barrel with zero concern for the front sight.
