Shotgun Sling Install?

Hi All:

I have a 12 guage (Norinco Woods and Water) to which I'd like to add a sling.

I purchased the gun new, but I either did not receive, or have misplaced the hardware that came with the gun. Specifically, I seem to be missing the eyelet screw (unsure of the name) that screws into the stock of the gun.

Is this screw standard? Can it be purchased? Checking a few stores, it appears this screw is not provided with the sling hardware.

Any guidance is really appreciated.

Thanks!

You should be able to buy a kit for your shotgun from S.I.R.,Lebarons,Wholesale or other gun shop for about $15.00.This would include the stud for the rear of the stock and an attachment for the barrel to attach your sling swivels to.

if uou going to do anything other then a standard sling i would go for a 1 point sling, as a 3 point sling looks cool and all that but you will just get all confused and stuck in it when you go to use it.
Dont want to look liek a transvetite putting on stockings for the 1st time :)
Good single poitn slings can be had from CGN mamber farmboy
@ one shot tac, sling plates you can get from me :)
hope this helps

I bought a single point sling for my 870 and didn't like it. Unless you have a very short barrel you will find that the gun hangs down between your legs. 3 point sling supports the weight better and keeps the gun at a better angle. In the end it's mostly just personal preference.
