Shotgun slug casting rate

I'm considering casting slugs to make mild loads. How many slugs can be cast from the Lee slug mould in say an hour working at a steady, comfortable, smooth pace.

That drive key looks as if it can slow things down a lot.

i have never found that the drive key slows it down at all, as long as you have prepped your mold properly. So basically whatever speed you can cast at is how fast it will cast.

are you interested in casting the lyman sabot slug
( hollow base single cavity)
if you are it is slow 5-6 min with rejects

when i was casting the sabot i found that i got lot of rejects in the start of the pour (visual rejects which i put back in to the pot ) due to the mold being cold

then it got good 90-95% till the pot emptied ( lyman bottom pot )
