ShotGun Stock

Hey Guys,
Just finishing up building a duplicator machine for making Stocks.
Now I'm starting to ponder with the idea of making a New stock for my old Beretta 303 12 gauge.
Question is i want to try a exotic wood like Bloodwood or Cocobolo. has anyone ever seen/made a stock made from ether of these materials?
i can find tons of grip caps or scales made from them... but no stocks.
and yes i have worked with Cocobolo on a small scale before so i know how hard it is to work.
Anyone with experiences that has any input would be nice.
lets here goods bads, or if anyone has a stock made of one of these materials id love to see a picture of them!

If the Beretta has a through bolt running lengthwise through the stock, drill the hole first before shaping the stock

I don't know about either of those woods and have searched around a bit, google is your friend, there is some good sites that list the charachteristics and workability of different woods, you biggest concerns should be if they tend to warp in different humidities and if they handle temperature well.

Weight is an issue too but I guess you've already figured out that will be a compromise.

You want to make sure whatever wood your using has been properly kilned or dryed, or else it will warp regardless, though you can get it microwaved or kiln dryed by a few shops apparently.
