Shotgunning Groundhogs below HWY89 Ontario

I am aware that nothing over 270cal can be used below HWY89, would that
include shot from a shotgun? I realize slugs can't be used,but shot multi
small balls?

You can use a shotgun for sure in those areas and read the regs as I am sure it states that a RIFLE of no greater than .270 calibre may be used. Not all areas south of hwy 89 are restricted either if memory serves? Read the regs, they are your best source of info.

Yes you can use a shotgun....Where you finding groundhogs south of 89?? They are very rare, Most are just north of 89 that I have seen......

You can use a shotgun with slugs most of the year. Not during shotgun for deer seasons though unless you have a deer tag. There are small pockets of them around
