Shotguns on display

Had the safe emptied so I could renovate the interior and had most of my long guns laid out on the floor. Renovated the safe and replaced the muzzleloader and falling blocks and am waiting for delivery of a new safe for shotguns and rimfires. Anyways, had the shotguns all laid out and thought “hey, why not take a pic”. So, here they are. There is nothing particularly special in the bunch, pretty run of the mill but, it does show that I have a “type”. From top to bottom in order of bore, .410 single, .410 sxs, 28ga single, 28ga sxs, 20ga sxs, 20ga sxs, 12ga sxs, 12ga sxs, 12ga sxs, 12ga, sxs, 8ga sxs. Nothing to write home about but thought I would share anyways we all love pics don’t we?,

Got a favorite in the collection? I'm usually not a huge fan of exposed hammers and straight grips, but the 28ga SxS looks like an absolute treat to carry in the field!

That's a very nice collection. I've always wanted to get myself some old shotguns for display since they look so nice and are so cheap.

Thanks. The 20ga flint is circa 1790, the 12ga I built in 2005. After posting the pic, I noticed I have a couple more in the other safe. 10ga Henry Gurney caplock sxs, a 12ga sxs suppository with Damascus barrels and a 20ga smoothbore that I put together from a Chambers kit for my Dad about 30 years ago.
