What’s the best bang for the buck ? Are they worth running? I just getting into 3 gun. And I’m thinking of getting one just don’t know what one or really where to order from. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I would suggest trying out a few different ones if you can borrow them. Find out what loading style you prefer and what caddy suits you. I have so far bought 5 different caddy styles in the last 2 years to figure out what works for me. A lot cheaper to try before you buy. In my defence they were almost all bought used and for good deals so I did not loose much on the resale of the ones I did not like.

I bought the Taccom Sport Series 8S4B Shell Holder holds 8 - 12 gauge shell holder that works with TEKLOK, TMMS, ELS and other belt attachments, this past summer.

I like it because I can either place the shells for quad reloads (if I ever get good enough at it, lol) or "skip" a place and do duos. I bought them and the TEKLOKs from Amazon.com. I usually just put 2 on my belt

I found loading to max for 3gun (9 rounds in my pump) and having another 8 on my belt suits most CoFs. If not, I can double that to 16 on the shell holders. If I need more than that, I'll add another holder to my belt.

If you're not planning on doing the fancy quads, I really like the 4x4 holders. I had to trim the little retention tabs back on mine, but they work great. They're a little slower than the Invictus style caddies, but you don't have to worry about a shotshell yard sale if you have to go prone.

Edit: Unless you're only looking for those specific type of caddies. Then... Disregard. :)

Ah...a shotgun shell caddy....I know them well...!!
Absolutely no sense on packing for the day, pack for the week!
I mean be prepared with five hundred shells at the minimum~!
I enjoyed this skeet competition in Laffite, LA.....may I say it was a .... Blast...!
18 different shot set ups, (like shooting a round of golf...) each with cocktails and snacks, all professionally scored with a watching judge at each.
Was truly amazing, then the BBQ afterwards was world class....

I've heard great things about this AP Custom shell caddies... and I understand they've gone belly-up.. So what's next?
Any thoughts on chest rig / thigh rig set ups or other brands/systems of shell caddies?
