shotshells question

Shotshells

Well I guess this is going to sound like the grumpy old man here.
Sorry but Winchester Target loads, Remington Gun Clubs and Federal target loads are not the problem.
Check your chamber and clean all old dirt and packing grease out of your shotgun.
If problem is still happening have a gunsmith check out the shottie.
We just finished our first trapshoot here in Saskatchewan and everybody not shooting relaods are useing one of the cheap target ammo's (what is cheap today) no problems in 1000's of rounds.
I reload the cheapies up to 5 times and they work great in Rem 870 TC, Rem 870 Comp, Browning BT 99, Rem 1100. So stell swelling heads just arent happening
Again check out the shotgun.

sorry for the misspelling (i am french) , yess a love bananas:D
so can you give me advise???????

Good chance the jams are caused by incomplete cycling of the action. Thats not a gun problem, it may be a shooter problem. Completely cycle the action every time.

I can only speek from my experience. Gun was clean, no short stroking. We shot a round of sporting clays with the Federals from Canadian Tire and out of 100 round we probably had 10-15 jam, if not more. We shot some clays with my cheapie Gander Mountain thrower with the Winchesters from Walmart and had shells jamming. We shot clays with my thrower using the Remington Gun Clubs and not one jam.

The Canadian Tire Federals were also jamming in my neighbours Mossberg 535.

IMHO Winchester shotshells and .22lr ammunition are garbage. Extraction troubles in both and too many duds this includes the "premium" crap they make. Gimme Federal all the way
