Should I be happy with this accuracy out of my Russian SKS?

Hey guys. Just wondering what guys are getting for accuracy from there SKS's. I know by all means these are NO target rifles intended for accuracy, just a good gun for plinking. This one is a 55 Russian. 5 shot group at 60 yards with a 3x9-40mm mounted on the Wartak rail system. While it was -40 outside today lol.

Very nice!!! Put a scope on it and you can sell it on the EE ,as a x sniper unit. Starting price should be.....around $999.00...there rare you know!!LOL

The guys here are being nice.
But in reality one good group means nothing. Not that your group is good by any means.
I can show you a 0.3" 5shot group at 218 yds that I was not able to do again. Mere chance.
Why don't you shoot 5 such 5 shot groups in a row at 60y or better at 100y and post them here.
Then we will be able to judge your rifle.

One target is nothing to go off but that is a 2.5 MOA group as I see it. If you can shoot a few consistent groups like that I would say you have a very nice shooting example of an SKS. Especially if you are doing that with surplus rounds.
 
What ammo were you using ???
well shot with open sights.........
don't pay too much attention to the WANNA-BE snipers here . Only opinion about your shooting that means anything is your own....happy new year..

the OP clearly states his SKS is scoped.
