Should I buy a AO M1 carbine or stay away

Whats the price of the AO compared to that of a USGI one. I bought an USGI M1 for a very reasonable price and I like the idea of having something with history and I believe it will keep its value better
 
The AO tend to run in the $900-1000 range although I have seen them as cheap as $800. Up until recently the USGI versions were going for $500-600 but they have suddenly jumped in price to $700-850. I recently listed a Quality Hardware Machine Co. version for $800 and it sold almost immediately and I had several offers. Mind youi it was in really good shape and was from one of the scarcer manufacturers. The value in the AO is that they are non-restricted. if they were not I think the USGI versions would be more expensive and a bettter deal.
 
Your right I forgot about the NR part. I am pretty much just a range shooter so the restricted part doesnt bother me
