Should I buy a Knoxx Specops stock for my 870?

The thing i like about the specops stock is the internal recoil dampener. Great for if you want to unload a bunch of slugs or buck in a competition in a real hurry. :D IMO they are worth the extra money. You wont get much value added if/when you sell the gun, but until then its a good investment. plus, it's tacticool, if you care about that sort of thing.

i think i might buy it. My stock is missing the nut and i dont like the folding style anyways. Probably never will sell the 870, first gun i purchased and it is kinda sentimental. Good to hear from someone who owns one, i like the look and the recoil is just a sweetener.

Do you think it is a good idea to upgrade from the bead sight?
 
I've got the knoxx spec ops on my mossberg 835. It is very nice when shooting the high power loads. The recoil reduction really works well. The ability to customize the length is wonderful too. If you are going this route, be sure to get the power pack too. It gives you a low and high cheekpiece along with a shell holder and a water-tight storage compartment that can be used for your reg cert. I think you'd be happy with the purchase.
 
power pack, i neeeeed! good thing it is summer and i can work now, so im feeling the specops now more than ever.
 
sweet its settled im getting one, where did u guys get yours, my local shop doesnt have them and i need to order it online
 
I have one, and although I have not even tested it yet...I have heard good things. It makes slugs doable.

wow you have some nice guns sir, i need a tube extension as well, it doesnt get cheaper when you look at other ppls toys
 
Specialty Shooting Sports is where i got mine too. Got the powerpack there too. Plus I got a pistol grip fore end from there too. My mossy 835 is looking pretty awesome and it shoots like a dream. You will not be disappointed with the knoxx. Specialty ships quick too.
