It's a very old model so I guess that I'm trying my luck here. Do you guys think that I can get it fixed or replace the blade section?

you'll be better off getting new trimmer.one on pics looks ancient-keep it :)
blades have been sharpened before and there is't much metal left.

than again ask someone who works in tool/die making.they have some neat tools-they might be able to do it for you

It looks like a Forster for which replacement shafts are available.

However I would measure the shaft diameter before thinking about it.

Do you know where I could get the part?

How does it work with three, instead of four, cutting surfaces?

Not so good; the cases tend to wobble thus affecting the grip. Also I have diffrences in case length (about 0.01'').

A good trimmer will do within .001, not .01. If you don't care, since you're trimming for safety not accuracy, save your money.

I'd get a new one, but everyone's needs and circumstances differ.

I have a Lyman trimmer, I find I use it less than I used to. I have gone to using the Lee Trimmer's with my power trill, I have to trim them more regularly, because it only takes them .004 under SAAMI length, but it saves a ton of time and effort.
