Hey all.

Got wondering if I should hurry up and buy something before another prohib class gets the rest of what is just restricted?

Can't really afford one, but may bite the bullet.

What is needed? I have a restricted PAL.

What is a good rifle to buy? Where is a good shop to buy from? ETC.......

Sorry. I never spent allot of time in this forum, because I don't own one, and being able to afford one was a long way down the road.

Hehehhehehe..
I am going to buy a handgun and attempt to grandfather a 1910 mauser and get my prohib 12.7 class.

just to piss off the Lieberals!

We should have a least a month, maybe two, after the election. The government isn't that quick to implement confiscation.

The only problem is they may put a freeze on all restricted transfers.

If they try to take my AR, they'll be picking pieces of it off the wall. :(

I have purchases for the near future that I am still going to make. IF the Liberal party gets in, there plan has to get funding approval, then it has to get MORE funding approval, which the NDP, and PCP will never commit to. After that it would take many years to even come close implementing a ban. Has everyone registered there longarms with the registry yet??? NO.
We have to get out and vote, bottom line!

I agree it will take a while but the problem is the Liberals might just order the CFC to stop processing restricted transfers. Or get the CFO's to stop approving transfers.

They are a sneaky bunch, I wouldn't put it past them.
I can see it now, two days after the election (If Lieberals win) "Thank you for calling the CFc, we are closed."

"...attempt to grandfather a 1910 mauser and get my prohib 12.7 class..." That ship sailed long ago. If you don't have it now, you can't get it.

Buy now before it's to late. Deal with confiscation when/if it comes.

I think that's the way.

If you have your restricted, do you have to be a gun club member before you can purchase a HG? (Ontario)

I'm hoping to pick up an SKS tomorrow. it's probably something on their hate list. and for under $150 new it won't break the bank.

in the mean time I'm trying to figure out what handgun to buy before jan 23.

Dont take #### from this government. Do you want an ar15 ? Buy one.. Want a 1911 ? Buy one... Dont let them scare you out of buying what you want.

it would likely take years to take all the restricteds away we can fight each and every restricted in court represent yourself even if you lose imagine what it would cost them!

barring that strip your recievrs and CUT them in half before you turn them in now they cant use them!:)

Its a privilege to own a firearm in this country.

People told me that Id have lost all my short barrelled pistols when the first OIC came around. still have em.

Dont be scared to buy a gun because your fear that the government will take it away ... Thats exactly what they want.
