I have a complete KIDD rifle build coming first quarter 2013, and have until then to decide whether or not I want the 16.5" Black Match stainless barrel threaded for a suppressor or not. So far my order specifies that it is to be unthreaded.
Yes, I am well aware suppressors are illegal in Canada. Muzzle threading and cap is a $60 option and I just don’t know if I want it (I know I don’t need it, and the price isn’t an issue as it’s basically free).
What are some opinions on this? Should I plan for the future and thread, or plan for the inevitable and keep it unthreaded? Are there other benefits to threading this barrel?
