Should I go for the Tanfogilo Witness p Match Pro 10MM or some other 10mm

I am in the market for a 10mm but I want something different rather then the usual Glock/Sig/1911. I noticed the Tanfogilo Witness P Match Pro in 10mm. I am quite intrigued by this. I am not super keen on the polymer frame but I can look past that as this looks like quite the interesting pistol. I have been lusting after a Bren Ten or a Smith 1006 but those are rare with the price to match.
Any one out there have any experience with this pistol? Don't be shy to share pics too!

If you are looking for something different have a look at the Ruger GP100 match champion in 10mm.

They are good guns with a decent following in the US fwiw. Underrated and kind of unknown up here though and in a competitive segment with Glock and the Springfield XD.

What does a 10 mm do that a 357 won t ? Or a 40 or 9mm if you are shooting paper?
I don’t get these “what does calibre x do that calibre y doesn’t” type of questions. I mean, if you want to focus on only a couple of calibres that fine, but some of us like to experience a wider breadth of guns and shooting experiences that trying lots of different calibres provides.

Thanks for the input guys. As far as the XDM, I have had a XDM in the past (9mm) and it didn't really turn my crank, but thanks for the suggestion.
And as for the “what does calibre x do that calibre y doesn’t” ; that's like asking what does a real gun do to paper that a airsoft/bb gun/ hole puncher doesn't. FFS

I want a 10mm because I WANT one, that ####s pimpin' yo.
Also 10mm is better than 9mm because it is 1 more than 9 and a whopping 9.643 more than .357!
What ever I decide on, I will be sure to post back here with some pics and a range report.

I have a Tanfogilo Witness in 10mm. I also have a Bren Ten and Smith 1006, 1066, and 1076. They're all fun to shoot for sure
But I frikin love my SIG P220 in 10mm

So a Smith and Wesson 1006 popped up on the EE last week and I pulled the trigger. Fate I suppose? I am super excited to get it into my grubby little mitts and take it for a spin. I will probably start a new thread with a review and range report. Thanks to all who made suggestions in this thread.

Nice! Looking forward to the range report.

Good choice. Definitely one of the more iconic 10mms. I had one and quite liked it. Often think about getting another.

It was built to take full power loads but because they don't make parts anymore, you probably want to keep it in the moderate range and use the full power stuff sparingly. That said, I don't think I have ever come across a story of someone needing parts or having issues with wear.
