Should I modify my AICS style mags to prevent dropping out ?

So back story on the gun, it's a krg bravo, with a deadline magnum action.
I have both an accurate and mdt mags. Both of them fall out. I'm on my 2nd mag catch. I've trimmed them both as sharp as I could get them to keep the mag tight.
So I'm on the fence lately about trimming the magazines and removing some material just before the spot where the factory stamp protrudes from the magazine.
I was instructed by everyone and their dog to adjust the stock.
I've adjusted the stock as tight as I can make it. Yet they still drop out.
I've even lost 2 separate mags in the field due to taking a shot and having the mag later fall out cause it came loose. Order up 2 more mags and they still drop out.
Has anyone else ran into this? Any tips?
Before I potentially ruin a perfectly good magazine.

I feel if you have to adjust multiple brands of mags to work properly, the problem is the chassis. Have you spoken to KRG about the problem? Is there a spring in the latch on the chassis? How tight is it? Is it shaking loose under recoil and releasing the mags? Can you pull them free by just pulling down on them?

I had the same issue with my short action deadline. I actually found that the back of my ARC mag was hitting the bottom of the action at the back. I took a file to the rear of the mag and took off a bit of material. It locks up no problem now

Hating to ask an obvious question: what length magazines are you using?

A 3.715" long action mag will fit into a 3.850" well more-or-less, especially if you have snugged the mag well as far down as it will go. On my W3, a 3.715" mag will seat and mostly hold even though I have the well set for 3.850" mags.

If you haven't tried the longer mag, it might be an easy fix.
