first off it is wise to not take for gospel what every range gunsmith tell you during a cease fire.
Secondly, it is recomended to clean ones firearm and become one with it over time.
Stripping it down to expose the workings (grip removal) is prolly enough exposure for the average pistol owner to determine if further
cleaning is required or if something is amiss and a trip to the armourer is required.
