I'm thinking of making an elevated blind for W/T hunting. I have used a ground blind(perminant) before with great success. I have 2 spots in mind. One a perminant tower blind could work but not in spot #2. Spot #2 is near a hay field and the blind would be located in a cultivated field. So it has to come out after hunting season. Show me some pics of movable tower blinds you've made-----Cowboy

You need a Quad and a trailer to move it... The house comes off the tower when it is laying on the ground.

nice setup bigred. Would love to live in a place like that when im older.

right now since I hunt crown land my blinds usually consist of natural made cover. (cedar, other #### I can find)

am thinking about getting a pop up blind. anyone use them? (not meaning to hijack the thread!)

How's this for a "blind" http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c329/Keepa/Keepasalbum/Bru cesDigi-campics2Oct23-05047.jpg
I posted this awhile ago in "keepa's Album .
It is an 8 x 8 insulated shack atop of a 16 foot high frame .

Here's a couple of mine. Both are 6.5'x4.5'. Each weigh less than 100 lbs. They used to be up on 10' platforms made with 4x4's. They were set up on high ground and offered no real advantage. Now we stake them to the ground. BTW, they both double as ice shanty's in the winter.
