How you guys carry your hunting related items on your quad such as chainsaw, canoe, climber treestand, gun rack / case or any items that aid our hunt?

Looking for ideas to carry a few things safely and may be a passenger on a 2up seat on occasion.

The canoe carrier is home made (heavy!). It doesn't go hunting, it's just for summer fishing trips. The chainsaw carrier is a Kolpin. The box is from CT, can't remember the brand, but got it on sale. It carries tools for the bike and chainsaw, and everything I need to get unstuck. Missing is the gun boot that bolts on the left side. Sometimes I don't bother with it and just throw the gun on the front rack in a soft case. Daypack gets bungied to the front rack. There's a limit to how much crap you can carry on a 4-wheeler. There's no room for passengers with the box on, and added bonus.

There was a gadget called a hook-a-rack, for lifting dead critters onto the front rack. I thought they were too expensive for what they were, so I made one up out of a disused treestand. I don't have pics of it.

I built a top for my quad trailer, keeps rain snow out no more tarps flapping in the wind, I built one for each trailer I have , I have since put hinges on one so I don’t have to lift it off, Just open to one side

All beautiful rig and setup!

I have trouble towing those yard trailer without tipping whenever go through rougher terrain are those tub trailer haul much nicer?

Knowing they are not cheap want to hear some feedback before dropping money for one.

The walking beam is the secret.

I borrowed a single wheel trailer once , ended up bent the axle when it flipped over , after that my decision was easy
Yup the walking beam dual wheels are the only way to go , both mine are walking beam
I have never tipped them over even when overloaded and sort of top heavy
Only time I tip the trailer over is to load up a moose, then winch it back over up right , then off to camp , takes time getting it figured out but it works slick,

Two reasons why I like this design. The deep bottom allows you to put the really heavy stuff in the bottom to keep the center of gravity low. Some others I’ve seen are not as deep and have high lift so the axles are like a foot below the box, in real deep mud or stump and log trails thay get hung up more, a good skid plate type bottom will slide right over. Nice graphics too.

Here’s a pic of the one with top with hinges on one side , not very good pick but only one I can find now
I use broom handle to hold it up , or let it over center and it will give more room for putting stuff in.

It was part of a fancy tow bar system that got abused.
I salvaged it with this intent.
It should work as intended.

The built in swivel on the tandem trailer should work better.
This one has a tendency to roll over with the ball down causing drag issues.

Thanks bc,

You got me interested and upon research found this video on Youtube:

Thanks for the video , now I’m thinking how I can make something up with the swivel on my trailer , I’m thinking a swivel system so it could swivel about a third of the way would be enough
Here’s a pick of the hinges I put in the side for the lid, there old hinges off a deep freeze , to help with lifting
