Hey guys
Just about to get my assembled rifle back from the gunsmith and looking to get a professional finish done (cerakote, armacoat, gunkote, etc.)
Reaching out to you guys for some ideas!
I have a fluted barrel and action so looking to get the inside of the flutes done in one colour and the rest done in another.
Considering using a brown/tan, green, and possibly a black/dark shade.

Thanks all for the replies! Some great looking rifle!
Here is a snap of the look that I am consider for the finish:

This will be going on the stock!
Then I will make the barrelled action a combination of the tan and the green (base layer of green and then all the insides of the flutes will be done in the tan) .

Thoughts or suggestions?

Looks like it's chipping away on your bolt. I thought this stuff was supposed to be durable?

There must have been some oil on the surface in that location would be my guess. Not sure. This rifle gets "used". It will be sprayed again shortly when a new barrel goes on. Will report on the wear then.
Cerakote is one of the more durable finishes, but to think it will not scratch... you're kidding yourself.

I'd be happy to take up any cerakote applicator that says their finish will not show that type of wear. I figure I could have findings back to you after a couple weekends of barricade practice.

Looking at using Backwoods Gunsmithing for some Gunkote work. Anyone have feedback from them or suggestions as where else to ask.
They quoted me 390 plus ship and tax for the worn look on my stock and scope, then a two colour finish on the barrelled action.
